Generally bios are written in a third person narrative so you don’t come off as all full of yourself but let’s not kid ourselves, I’m awesome.

I have worked primarily as a Canadian stand up comedian for over 25 years. I’ve played every festival, club, university, community centre, town hall and multipurpose building in every town in every province. Comfortable on any stage, my goal is putting on a show.

Writing, performing and acting skills have been earned through experience from many opportunities working in television both in front of and behind the camera.

Courtney was named by NOW Magazine as “one of the top 10 stage artists to watch”. She delivered a breakout performance at the 2017 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival by winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and filming a set for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network.

In 2018, she topped her win with televised performances at CBC’s Winnipeg and Halifax comedy festivals, then returned triumphantly to Montreal to tape a set for The Comedy Network at Just for Laughs.

Courtney was one of the 42 at Toronto’s JFL42 festival two years in a row with her own run of headlining shows.
